I just realized that I grew up during a time where the crazy frog was a thing. WHY?????

One of the reasons why they are so expensive is because they are expensive to make &amp; textbook publishers aren’t making as much money in the 2nd and 3rd year of a book’s lifetime, so instead they need to make all their profits within the 1st year of a new edition. This means that they need to jack up the list price of new books to make a lot of $.

…Because of this, many students aren’t really spending much money on new textbooks &amp; if they have to, it can be hard on their wallets. (Some books go up to $500+)
If college tuition fees weren’t enough…

So? What is this forcing students to do? They are getting used, rentals, ebooks. &amp; even:
